Session I (Wed. 1/14 - Fri. 1/17 12p) - Bright Lights, Big City

01/14/97: Ellen and Gustav arrive separately in city, by plane. Greeted at airport by Prince's "welcoming committee" squad. Q2 visits recently opened art gallery w/ Adam's work. Ellen raids Orpheum, explores sewers under. Meets Tiberius & stays w/ him overnight. Alexander arrives in city.

01/15/97: Ellen stays at Basilica and is watched by Vandara.

01/16/97: Q2 talks w/ Lydia & Appollonius at Nirvana. (BB1 Q2).

01/17/97: Presentations at Prince's meeting, Ellen (masked appearance), Adam (everyone thinks is Caitiff w/ no sire), Gustav, Tremere contingent, including Alexander. Archon Marcus makes stink about Gustav's character. Lucian vouches for him. All witness the destruction of Ranger Don.

01/17/97: Post meeting, all to Nirvana. (BB1 Alexander, BB1* Gustav, BB1 Ellen, BB2 Q2). Ellen and Adam separately meet Vandara (E-in Basilca, A-observed from rooftop) and in turn, the Father. Granted admittance to Sanctuary.

01/18/97: Adam and Ellen meet Wendy. Alexander negotiates a deal w/ Appollonius for mortal retainers.

01/19/97: Adam, Gustav & Q2 fight some Brujah thugs at City Center. Trio see & semi-meet Selma at Capital. She threatens them to stay away.

01/20/97: Q2 finds out FBI is asking questions at his company. Ellen spots Adam at Sanctuary. Kindred start to show up missing. Among them David & Rubin. Lydia contacts Q2, upset about 2 missing Kindred (non-7). Alexander/Q2 coordinate a search for missing Tremere. Alexander negotiated info about Rubin's whereabouts from Tiberius at Nirvana (BB2 Alexander, Boon). Leads to Institute of Art. Find frozen kindred corpse outside. Find blood stains, ashes in trash & ring. Alexander aura reads ring. Calls Prince. Arrives w/ Childer Roland and aura reads as well. Confirms imagery of argument between Rubin & Archon Marcus. Circumstantial evidence points to Marcus. During investigation, noise heard upstairs. Another Kindred (non-7) killed. Fleeting images of assailant seen (large form, large boot tracks). Body Count: 3

01/21/97: David's ashes found at Guthrie. Kindred missing leg found behind 1^st Ave. Spot large form near Guthrie. Pete follows, turns out to be Lupine. Flees after nearly being attacked. Q2/Alexander talks to Marcus via phone, set up meeting for 1-22 at T-Wolves game. Lydia calls meeting of non-7 to discuss Prince's lack of investigation into the missing/dead Kindred. Body Count :4.

01/19/97: Takes Father up on offer of residency at Sanctuary.

01/20/97: Spotted by Ellen at Sanctuary. Pursued Personal tangent - finding out lots of info - death/post-death events etc. Broke into storage facility. Captured on grainy video.

01/21/97: Talks w/ Wendy. Finds dead Kindred on steps of Basilca, uses powers to see. Uses Crow to follow large form (Grendel). Tells Prince of death. Body Count: 5. Shows image of Grendel to Prince. Prince impressed by "new" power, infuriated about Grendel, calls emergency meeting for Wed 12p. Asks Prince for authorization to question Kindred about the bombing. Talks w/ Miranda, she likes how Adam beat up Appollonius's men.

01/22/97: T-Wolves meeting w/ Alexander. Party believes that he says he is being framed. Prince calls emergency metting for 12p. Prince's meeting, announces Lucian as Duke of St. Paul, talks about deaths, calls Blood Hunt on Grendel. Q2 sets up meeting w/ Justicar. Party (- Adam) goes to Capital to search for Selma. Whiles searching offices, she attacks & wounds Ellen. Flees out window. Later, Q2 meets w/ Prince & Justicar about bombings/FBI investigation.

01/23/97: Metro section has grainy photo of Adam and a story about a break-in at a local storage facility. Short list of suspects at Datacard. Alexander receives letter from "M" (Mikhail). Adam pumps Appollonius for info about bombings/Chantry/death of Primogen. Later, Renaldo (as Merrill) attacks Shawn, steals video equipment. Uriah agrees to get info for Adam about Chantry & lackeys. Ellen, Alexander & Gustav all go to Tiberius's lair, seeking knowledge about Rubin/Marcus (Alexander Owes) Renaldo waiting for Q2, Q2 takes to Datacard, attacked/staked in car. Erik dials Q2, Renaldo answers. Adam searches for Chantry, finds hidden tunnel under site through sewers. Justicar comes & looks at car wreck, aura reads, believes Renaldo did it, says he'll take car of it. Back to Q2's, house is on fire, superficial damage, Shawn is fine. At same time (coincidence) Alexander's house explodes (Grendel). Adam & Gustav (BB2*) to Nirvana, Anson & Adam negotiate deal for more artwork. Prince calls Alexander, Q2's hand & watch arrive in package. Alexander stays at Prince's tower overnight.

01/24/97: After awakening, Alexander finds Prince trashing office, Marcus (Archon) has left/escaped, broke his word. Gustav speaks w/ Lucian. Ellen approaches Father about Q2's plight. Father spends all-night searching for him astrally, finds him just before dawn.

01/25/97: During day. ATM $ (more paper trail for FBI that has started). Gets crossbow and spelunking equipment. Gets across chasm, barely. Attacked by ghoul rats. Talks w/ ghoul (fake Mikhail) for an hour. Realizes not Kindred. Astral form of Mikhail speaks to Adam, set up meeting for 2 am.

01/25/97: Ellen coordinated rescue (calls Alexander & finds Adam), tells Prince too. Alexander does astral recon. Black BMW screams up at museum. Four doors open, 2 people get out. Sniper attacks. Party finds huge form (zulo'd Krell) fighting man. Party attacks Krell. Gustav diablerizes twice, once in full view of Krell. Party herds Renaldo right to Antonio. Crow spotted. Prince's squad departs. Party goes to Prince's tower. Alexander retells tale of the assault. Q2 & Shawn relate relevant info. Prince confronts Gustav about Diablerie. Gustav tries to tap-dance. Plans to Bloodbind vs. kill, requires him to stay until complete. Prince stakes him. Adam & Alexander talk about Mikhail. Set up meeting, Adam arrives early & scares Mikhail away w/ his volatile behavior (acts on his misperceptions). Alexander tries to question Adam about the abrupt departure, Adam too mad to answer well. Alexander takes mortal lackeys and search under Chantry. One dies, finds chasm, quits searching. Ellen gets K9 unit dog.

01/26/97: Adam runs into news crew, snippet of him on tape. Alexander astrally recon's under Chantry. Ellen attacked by Grendel, saved by Vandara. Justicar visits Q2, letter of apology for Renaldo. Evening news runs short story on Adam (Is he alive?). Prince tries step 2 to Gustav, Auspex 4's him, realizes he has Iron Will and Unbondable. Decides he has to kill him.

01/27/97: Meeting - Presentation of Zebulon & brood (Normal, Doll-face & Vanessa). Dr. Von Beck returns to city & Mikhail returns from "death" and reclaims position as Primogen. Renaldo is killed by Justicar. Gustav is about to be killed by Prince. Lucian implores Mikhail to use Boon he has to save Gustav. Prince needs to punish but can't (Merits). Krell steps forward out of shadows & offers alternative. Gustav spared, but has heart removed and tracking device implanted. Adam follows Miranda's troops. Later, Ellen stalked by Grendel. Later, Ellen, Adam, Q2 & Alexander seek out Tiberius in lair, want info about Grendel. Tells history of Grendel. (free). The Crow is spotted, lands on Adam's shoulder. Miranda's flunkies do a drive-by near party. Wendy heals Ellen's Grendel wounds at Sanctuary.

01/28/97: Lucian calls Gustav, who he owes Boon becomes clear. Party decides to set trap for Grendel. Ellen runs into amnesiac Jennifer. Adam quickly approaches and attacks, drops her quickly. Ellen uses Chimestry to cover her so Adam stops. Jennifer staked an the Hummer. Later, explosion at IDS. All arrive (2 squads). Vandara flies Adam to tower. See wreckage on roof, see tracks leading to edge of building. Adam jumps down/across to next building. Adam, Vandara & astral Alexander track Grendel. Lose him after 15 minutes.

01/28/97: Post explosion - Everybody home. Jennifer's staked body stored at Q2's.

01/29/97: Q2 finalizes deal for Eden Prairie property. Gustav recon's Capital building, attacked by Selma, hurt badly, flees. Adam finds out Personal info, sets up Dre. Q2 meets w/ FBI/Xfiles. Basically one step behind Adam all night, O'Brien's, Nirvana (BB3 Q2). Q2 at Lydia's show at Fine Line. Sees Shamus, tells him about Selma. Contact Gustav. Gustav, Q2 & Shamus all to Capital. Search for & then attacked by obfuscated Selma. Drops everybody. Takes Gustav's sword and lops off R hand. Shamus healed up from crippled. Obfuscated, searched for her. Found her, beheaded w/ sword. Trio to Prince. Tells of death, technical violation of the 6^th Tradition, etc. No punishment. Adam beats up Dre, keeps him until dawn. Holds him up in the sunlight.

01/29/97: Talks to Father about St. Paul, Cathedral, Elysium, Golconda, Humanity. Hears the history of the Father. Hears about "those who watch" (Inconnu). Goes to Fine Line. Hangs. DJ hits on her. Realizes Anson is screwing over Tatiana. Decides to take matters into her hands. Contacts Ho Pan, gets cat burglar to steal the exhibit on display at Anson's gallery (Adam's work). Grendel stood obfuscated next to her in Fine Line lobby, watching Roland. (Recognizes smell as Grendel's from before). Meets Quiy Chi (burglar). Rides w/ Phil the cabbie. Vienam vet exits Basilica, same odor as Grendel. Father won't answer questions about parishioner. Talks to Wendy, call him "stinky-man", has been here 3-4 times before.

01/30/97: Shamus says goodbyes and goes home to Scotland.

01/31/97: Quiet Prince's meeting. Prince rants about Grendel's audacity to attack tower. States he is making this his personal mission to bring in Grendel.

02/01/97: Grendel fights Appollonius, Hector & Lupo to a stalemate.

02/03/97: Grendel kills Zachary North.

Session VIII - (Wed. 2/5 - Fri. 2/7) - Blood, blood, everywhere, and not a drop to drink!

02/05/97: Sebastian calls each member of party (- Adam). Gives specific commands to go to Mall and wait in a spot. All go. Sebastian realized that only Q2 was commanded to. Gives some BB commands about their bond. Sebastian runs into Ellen (Chimestry) coming out of Nirvana (BB3) , issues a command, she complies. Adam approached Tiberius to facilitate a meeting w/ Grendel. Q2 cuts ties to company, alerts FBI. Adam linked to Crow, sees Grendel fighting Merrill. Arrives post-fight, Grendel eating his heart. They talk. Adam finds no "special" purpose in Grendel to justify his violence.

02/06/97: Lucian invites Gustav out for "drinks". Gustav scoping out St. Paul, trying to find where turf wars are. Alexander sets it up to look like he went out of town. Gustav (obfuscated) and Ellen/Alexander stumble onto Brujah turf skirmish. Hector's squad wins. Q2 tinkers. Adam paints. Gustav w/ Lucian & meets Serena, remembers she's been with him a long time. Lucian offers Gustav positon as Sheriff of St. Paul. Ellen and Alexander devise plan to set trap, go talk to Roland. Roland meets them at elevator. Roland routes elevator to him, Prince steps out, shredded suit. Tosses an arm to Roland and says "Almost got him". Goes upstairs to change. Q2 calls Q about cancelling visit, Q figures out something is up. Q & Sakkara fly to Mpls. Sebastian calls Q2 and Ellen and sets up meeting at 10pm at Mall. Adam has some interaction w/ Ellen and Q2 & thinks something is odd. Q calls Prince and tells him about Jennifer, send Roland to get her.

02/07/97: Adam is waiting in Ellen's room for her to awake. Stays on her like glue all night. Loses her briefly just prior to meeting. Q2 and Ellen meet w/ Sebastian, ordered to kill Tatiana (she's expendable now that now that he's dominated all the ghouls). Q2 meets Q/Sakkara at airport. Q realizes/verifies he's BB (issues silly command). Sakkara says he can fix it. Q2 haven - Sakkara performs the Vincillium w/ Q, Q2 & himself, breaking bond. Q starts new bond, Q2 tells Sakkara about Krell. Sakkara calls Seraph and checks on Mpls. operatives. Q2 & Q go see Prince, Q tells story as he pieced it all together, exposing Sebastian. Prince calls Tatiana to warn her & Roland goes to get. Prince sends Antonio & Krell to his haven to get him.

Session IX - (Sat. 2/8 - Sun. 2/9) - Hunting the Hunter.

02/08/97: Prince's Meeting: Prince uses Obeah on Sebastian, secured for a "talk". Grendel (Obfuscated) at meeting - appears. Dramatic defiance speech at Prince about hunt. Prince, et.al move to attack, Grendel twists rules/laws enough to catch everyone off guard, so no immediate attack, by time everyone sorts it out in their heads, he's gone mist. Aleph approaches Gustav/Alexander to meet later at Fine Line. Mikhail approaches Adam about meeting later. Gustav/Alexander (&Q2 Obfuscated) talk: Aleph talks Conspiracy (Kindred community manipulated by a hidden figure). Tells them to use the name of the Wanderer if Nosferatu want payment. Dr. Von Beck arrives at Fine Line w/ Bobo. Later, Adam meets w/ Mikhail, tells Adam about scoping him out for Embrace before, offers Adam affiliation w/ Clan/Chantry. Adam agrees.

02/09/97: Native American/environmental groups protest at Mall. Q2 searches for Adam, finds him at loft. All go to Fine Line, meet and discuss Grendel situation. Breaks down into philosophical debate. During talk, Disembowler arrives, senses Bo's Wyrm-taint, shifts to Crisnos & attacks, nearly kills, the place empties (including PC's). Adam heals Bo w/ Obeah. Later, call Roland/Prince/Mikhail/Lydia, propose at IDS & discuss Grendel. Told Prince about Disenbowler. Meeting at 1am, Adam asks for Mikhail for formal membership in Clan/Chantry, agreees. Adam then immediately reveals true nature, (non-Kindred, but supernatural) shocking all. Is told he is in no danger, provided he follows the rules of the city like any other Kindred, otherwise…. All decide to lay a trap for Grendel, force him into open & track to lair. Use Lydia's Melpominee to issue a challenge to Grendel from Prince. Agrees. Prince & Grendel fight, Prince kicks ass, Grendel turns to mist & flees. Track him to Shinder's, then Basilica (Alexander sees the Father heal him), then to Loring Park. Grendel mists through crack in ice, swims through water to bottom, melds into bottom. (5am).

Session IXa - (Sat. 2/8) - Ellen Solo - Bless me Father for I have sinned.

02/08/97: Ellen tries to call Q2. Calls Tatiana, asks about gallery/art, arranges meeting for later to club-hop. Meet at Dayton's ramp. Unloads clip into her, Tatiana's toast. Drives to Ho Pan's. Munches Tatiana. Has Ho Pan clean up car. Goes to Father, confesses, during discussions, Ellen decides to go to Prince and fess up. At Foshay, quickly admits Diablerie. She drops Chimestry, revealing true form. He grills her on Clan and powers. He tries to questions about Blood Bond. They arrange to keep Diablerie secret, Ellen will now impersonate Sebastian for awhile. Prince grills her about Gustav too. Arranges for Mikhail to perform Ritual that purges aura (he now has some of her Blood). Ellen expresses interest in working for Prince and learning Vicissitude. Starts Blood Bond w/ Prince.

Session X - (Mon. 2/10 - ?) - Never played. Chronicle was paused at this point.
